About the Role
The WRI Polsky Energy Center seeks a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to provide administrative coordination and project support to the Global Director and leadership team. This role ensures operational cohesion, manages executive priorities, and facilitates effective communication across a global team.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Global Director including calendar management, scheduling, and travel arrangements
- Draft professional correspondence and answer inquiries
- Track tasks, meetings, and emails to ensure timely follow-up and execution
- Coordinate internal meeting logistics, develop agendas, take notes, and track action items
- Prepare presentations, reports, and special project documentation
- Monitor and submit expense reports and timesheets
- Serve as a liaison between executives and internal/external partners
- Organize team communications and plan internal or off-site events
- Identify and implement administrative process improvements
- Participate in institutional meetings and communities of practice
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or High School diploma with four years of administrative assistant experience
- Relevant professional experience assisting one or more executives
- Existing work authorization for the UK
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong judgment and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Capacity to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines under pressure
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Commitment to WRI’s mission, values, and hybrid work policy
- Fluency in English
