About the Role

Catholic Healthcare is seeking passionate and caring individuals to assist clients in living independently at home. This varied and rewarding role involves travelling to visit clients and supporting them with daily tasks, transport, meal preparation, social support, and personal care.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and connecting with clients, assisting with day-to-day in-home tasks like cleaning, tidying, and washing as per the care plan.
• Providing transport to appointments and for shopping.
• Meal preparation.
• Offering social support or respite for family/carers.
• Providing personal care, including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained).

Requirements

• A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to older Australians.
• Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable team player.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety.
• An Australian driver's licence.
• Access to a registered motor vehicle.
