About the Role

Responsibilities

  • See patients with a broad array of needs, conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits.
  • Treat patients in-office and conduct occasional telehealth visits.
  • Collaborate with in-office teammates via daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams.
  • Utilize specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures.
  • Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program.
  • Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting.
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or be Board Eligible and scheduled to take the next available exam.
  • State licensed in California before the One Medical start date.
  • Demonstrate a passion for human-centered primary care.
  • Successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds.
  • Effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care.
  • Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
  • Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery.
  • Openness to feedback and reflection.
  • Confidently navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues.
  • Adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs.
