About the Role

The Student Communities Coordinator plays a key role in building vibrant and inclusive student communities across the Tooting campus. The role supports societies, student media and fundraising groups, providing guidance on events, budgets, governance and leadership development. Working closely with student leaders, the postholder coordinates engaging activities and major campus events, ensures compliance with health and safety requirements, manages administrative processes, and helps create opportunities that foster belonging, participation and student success while strengthening relationships across the Students’ Union and University.

Responsibilities

Support societies, student media and fundraising groups.
Provide guidance on events, budgets, governance and leadership development.
Coordinate engaging activities and major campus events.
Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
Manage administrative processes.
