About the Role
The Grants Policy & Product Owner will embed new working methods across grant teams, ensure consistent system and process adoption, and monitor compliance with the Grant Policy Framework. This role acts as a subject matter expert to support NCI Grant Teams in best practice operations, leveraging new system functionalities, and maintaining/interpreting the Grants Policy Framework.
Responsibilities
- Embed new ways of working across the grant teams.
- Ensure consistent adoption of the system and processes.
- Monitor compliance with the Grant Policy Framework.
- Act as a subject matter expert to support NCI Grant Teams.
- Ensure best practice operation of new grant processes.
- Take advantage of new system functionality as it becomes available.
- Maintain, interpret, and update the Grants Policy Framework as needed.
Requirements
- Experience with grant-making activities.
- Familiarity with grant policy frameworks.
- Experience with grant management systems.
- Understanding of legal and regulatory expectations for grant making.
