About the Role

The Grants Policy & Product Owner will embed new working methods across grant teams, ensure consistent system and process adoption, and monitor compliance with the Grant Policy Framework. This role acts as a subject matter expert to support NCI Grant Teams in best practice operations, leveraging new system functionalities, and maintaining/interpreting the Grants Policy Framework.

Responsibilities

  • Embed new ways of working across the grant teams.
  • Ensure consistent adoption of the system and processes.
  • Monitor compliance with the Grant Policy Framework.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to support NCI Grant Teams.
  • Ensure best practice operation of new grant processes.
  • Take advantage of new system functionality as it becomes available.
  • Maintain, interpret, and update the Grants Policy Framework as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience with grant-making activities.
  • Familiarity with grant policy frameworks.
  • Experience with grant management systems.
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory expectations for grant making.
