About the Role

We are seeking a working student to join our climate protection project development team in Berlin. This role offers a diverse range of tasks, a young and dedicated team, and challenging responsibilities with ample room for personal initiative in a dynamically growing company. Enrollment in a program of study is required.

Responsibilities

• Independent collaboration in the development and support of climate protection projects
• Research of country- and technology-specific information
• Assistance in the creation of emission calculations
• Assistance in the certification of projects under CDM and Gold Standard
• Creation of texts, flyers, and other presentation materials to showcase climate protection projects to our clients
• Support with project administration

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a program of study, preferably in natural sciences, environmental sciences, or engineering
• At least in the 3rd semester
• Knowledge of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), Gold Standard, emission calculations, and renewable energies is advantageous
• Commitment to environmental, climate, and sustainability issues
• Proficient in using essential office software
• Independent, meticulous, and reliable work style
• Sensitivity to working within the context of global North-South relations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Very good command of German and English; additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French) are a plus
