About the Role

The Senior Portfolio Support Officer is key to the successful operation of the University’s Portfolio Management Office (PMO), reporting to the Head of PMO and ensuring consistent application of quality standards, governance, and assurance across the entire strategic change portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering consistent, high-quality portfolio administration and coordination.
  • Ensuring documentation, governance processes and portfolio data are maintained to agreed standards.
  • Ensuring portfolio data remains accurate, timely and audit-ready.

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to supporting a complex and dynamic portfolio of change initiatives.
  • Acting as a central point of coordination.
  • Help ensure that teams are well-supported.
  • Help ensure information flows smoothly.
  • Help ensure project / programme delivery is underpinned by reliable processes, documentation and insights.
