About the Role

Story House casuals are integral team members who help cover programming, sick days, lunch breaks, and longer periods such as holidays or new positions. While we aim to roster in advance for continuity and security, flexibility for short notice and multiple shifts is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Help cover programming, sick days, and lunch breaks.
• Step in for longer periods, covering holiday or new positions.
• Create safe, inclusive, and nurturing environments where children feel valued, respected, and protected.

Requirements

• Must be available at short notice and for multiple shifts throughout the week.
• All applicants will be subject to child safety screening, including Working with Children Checks and reference checks.
• All final applicants will be asked to consent to a criminal record check.
• Share a commitment to child safety, inclusion, and respectful relationships with children and families.
