About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional in our respite program, you will work with children and young adults with developmental disabilities in a fun, supportive environment, providing families with trusted care and support. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and young adults, staying active, and making a positive impact.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and support for children and young adults after school or work during the hours of 2p-6p.
- Assist with activities, games, crafts, and community outings.
- Encourage social skills, independence, and confidence.
- Build positive relationships with children and their families.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must possess a valid driver's license that meets agency policy.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
