About the Role

As our Human Resources Generalist, you will act as the heartbeat of our workplace, leading onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. You'll champion our workplace culture while delivering top-tier customer service and ensuring the highest standards of confidentiality. You will be the primary point of contact for our employees, guiding them through their professional journey from day one. Facilitate a seamless onboarding process and manage the day-to-day HR operations. Take charge of benefits administration and foster a supportive, compliant, and thriving work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative, operational, and clerical support across the entire Human Resources Department.
  • Serve as the trusted confidant and primary point of contact, navigating employee relations with empathy and the highest levels of confidentiality.
  • Ensure all daily HR practices adhere to labor laws and company policies.
  • Facilitate engaging new hire orientations and guide employees through their benefits packages.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Human Resources Generalist or equivalent support role.
  • Minimum of 1 year of general office experience required.
  • Hands-on experience navigating Paycom (or a similar comprehensive HRIS system) for personnel tracking and benefits administration is highly preferred.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary and handle emotionally upset or hostile individuals professionally.
  • Patience and empathy required to relate and work harmoniously with ill, disabled, elderly, and sensitive populations.

  • Exceptional communication, emotional intelligence, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a laser-focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
  • A passion for people and problem-solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a cheerful, patient, and tactful disposition.
  • Strong technological skills, particularly with Paycom, Microsoft Office, and digital record-keeping.
