About the Role
As a Senior Procurement Category Manager, you will optimize 3rd party Marketing spend by delivering identified benefits and creating value optimization strategies. You will influence multi-million pound spend across multiple marketing categories.
Responsibilities
- Review group spend and analyze supplier base and business requirements.
- Identify and lead content projects, ensuring timely delivery and target achievement.
- Engage with local and international stakeholders to understand requirements, identify opportunities, align goals, share best practices, and review spend.
- Build cutting-edge knowledge of the supply base and market trends, providing value-adding insights to the content community.
- Understand critical areas for innovation and build a pipeline of opportunities for the supplier community.
- Support the implementation of the procurement strategy and policy.
Requirements
- Experience with offline and digital media, partnerships/sponsorships, creative, and martech.
- Outstanding/excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to present and summarize a business case to an executive audience.
- Excellent understanding and management of RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and Agreements.
- Excellent skills in evaluating or monitoring contract performance to determine the necessity for amendments or extensions and compliance to contractual obligations.
- Commercial awareness and excellent negotiation skills.
