About the Role
Citi's 10-week Summer Analyst Program in Sydney offers hands-on internship experience within the Markets business, providing exposure to fast-paced financial markets and real-time trading and sales tasks. The program includes in-depth training, senior leadership interaction, mentorship, networking events, and a final presentation to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to fast paced and dynamic financial markets.
- Contribute to real-time trading and sales tasks.
- Participate in in-depth classroom style training and education on a variety of Markets Products & fundamentals.
- Work with senior leadership and gain on-desk work experience.
- Receive 1:1 support from a mentor and buddy.
- Attend formal and informal networking events, including cohort catch ups and lunch & learn sessions.
- Pitch a presentation to mentors and the senior leadership team at the end of the program.
Requirements
- Are a results-oriented, driven student with second to none passion for markets!
- Have exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Have a strong worth ethic, willingness to learn and ability to adapt to a fast moving and dynamic environment.
- Are a penultimate or final year student pursuing an Undergraduate/Master's degree in Australia or New Zealand.
- Are a student with strong academic record from all disciplines, including but not limited to Commerce, Finance, STEM, Actuarial & Law.
- Have demonstrated strong leadership; teamwork; and interpersonal skills through extra-curriculum activity.
