About the Role
Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking an Aircraft Avionics Technician to support CH147F Phase Inspections for the Royal Canadian Airforce. This role involves working as part of a team to maintain aircraft systems and ensure flight worthiness.
Responsibilities
- Assembles, disassembles, and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components.
- Oversees assembly, disassembly, or overhaul.
- Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
- Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
- Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
- Documents procedures and processes for contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness.
- Oversees training.
- Works under general direction.
- Performs as part of a cohesive team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, preferred on CH47F platform.
- Must possess Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Avionics Technician (AME-E) license or Military equivalent.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
- Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment.
- Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding controlled goods.
- Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance.
- Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.
- Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
