About the Role

Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking an Aircraft Avionics Technician to support CH147F Phase Inspections for the Royal Canadian Airforce. This role involves working as part of a team to maintain aircraft systems and ensure flight worthiness.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles, disassembles, and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components.
  • Oversees assembly, disassembly, or overhaul.
  • Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  • Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
  • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
  • Documents procedures and processes for contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness.
  • Oversees training.
  • Works under general direction.
  • Performs as part of a cohesive team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, preferred on CH47F platform.
  • Must possess Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Avionics Technician (AME-E) license or Military equivalent.
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada.
  • Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment.
  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding controlled goods.
  • Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.
  • Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
