About the Role
Lead a team to deliver actionable insights, empower colleagues, and drive innovation across Group and Banner functions to support the purpose of Better Homes, Better Lives, For everyone.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a diverse team of digital data experts, supporting their growth and delivering high-quality analytics.
- Build and enhance self-serve analytics capability, enabling stakeholders to access and use data effectively.
- Develop and evolve the digital data roadmap, ensuring it drives business objectives and continuous improvement.
- Empower the team to deliver insights that drive data-led optimisation and measurable improvements across Group and Banner functions.
- Collaborate with Data Science, AI, Engineering, and Measurement teams to deliver analytics and reporting for key initiatives.
- Champion best practices in digital data, embedding analytics and systematic experimentation into our ways of working.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand challenges and opportunities, fostering a culture of curiosity, agility, and collaboration.
Requirements
- Experience leading a mixed-level team, supporting their analytical, commercial and professional development.
- Significant expertise in digital analytics for eCommerce and digital products.
- Proficient in Google Analytics and has experience reporting packages (Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau), databases (SQL) and Web Tagging (Google Tab Manager).
- Strong statistical analysis skills and experience with relevant packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc).
- Clear communicator with a track record of delivering compelling, action-oriented insights to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and prioritise team demand, with the confidence to positively challenge and influence stakeholders where required.
