About the Role
We are seeking a motivated individual to manage assigned territories, maximize market share, and build a sales pipeline by promoting product growth and providing development, management, and account direction within the EMEA North 1 region. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to build a career in sales or an early-career sales professional ready for the next step.
Responsibilities
- Achieve 100% or greater of the Life Science sales plan for assigned territory and accounts.
- Execute the company's marketing plan for product line sales and launches.
- Coordinate customer interactions at trade shows and conferences.
- Provide monthly sales forecasts and report monthly KPIs for field sales activity.
- Maintain industry, company, and competitive product files.
- Analyze market segments for new product opportunities.
- Maintain updated customer contact information in databases.
- Implement proactive selling and growth strategies for territory accounts.
- Establish or reestablish customer relationships by proactively contacting and visiting new or inactive accounts/prospects.
- Introduce new products, sales programs, and promotions.
- Develop proposals and contracts.
- Apply needs-based and consultative selling techniques to determine customer product and service needs.
- Direct customer complaints, billing issues, and technical/quality problems to the appropriate internal departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Ability to travel locally (UK) at least 50% of the time.
- Occasional international travel (10%) required.
- BSc in Biomedical Sciences or related field.
- 2-5 years of direct sales experience within the life science industry is critical.
