About the Role

Clio is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Development & Learning for a 13-month contract to cover parental leave. This role is crucial for fueling Clio's growth by designing and implementing high-impact learning solutions, leadership development programs, and talent management strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing team of TD&L professionals, mentoring and developing people managers and portfolio leads.
  • Evolve and oversee global talent management programs, including annual Talent Systems Cycle, mid-year promotion cycle, 360 Feedback, and Succession Planning.
  • Partner to continuously optimize the Global Onboarding Experience, ensuring cultural integration and minimizing time-to-productivity.
  • Guide the launch of Leadership Behaviours and integrate them across talent programs.
  • Provide strategic direction for leadership development programs and coaching for key cohorts.
  • Facilitate leadership development programs as needed.
  • Play a critical role in building AI capability across the business through enablement programs.
  • Integrate AI fluency into performance management globally and adopt AI-first ways of working within the TD&L team.
  • Measure and report on program KPIs, including behavioral change and effectiveness.
  • Translate talent data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Drive execution on the TD&L strategy through goal setting, KPIs, and roadmaps.
  • Partner with the broader People team to ensure coordinated efforts and a seamless employee experience.
  • Oversee learning infrastructure, including LMS, content strategy, vendor relationships, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Systematically integrate Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Equity (DIBE) principles into all talent processes.
  • Own the reporting and narrative for the success, budget utilization, and business impact of global TD&L initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive HR or Talent Development experience.
  • Experience leading talent programs and teams in hypergrowth tech organizations of 2,000+ employees.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Track record of building bench strength and fostering professional growth.
  • Deep knowledge of talent management practices including performance management, succession planning, 360 feedback, and career development program design.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering leadership development programs and learning solutions across all levels of leadership.
  • Hands-on experience leading or working alongside learning experience designers.
  • A point of view on what good looks like for a shared services learning function and its supporting tools.
  • Genuine energy and hands-on fluency with AI tools.
  • Comfort operating at the pace of change AI demands.
  • Ability to operate at both a strategic and executional level.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to build trust and drive alignment across People CoEs, People Business Partners, business leaders, and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate talent data and program metrics into compelling narratives that drive leadership decisions.
  • Experience building AI capability across a workforce through enablement programs and integrating AI into performance evaluations and talent management practices (Bonus).
  • Experience with Workday HRIS or similar enterprise HR systems (Bonus).
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and learning technology platforms (Bonus).
