About the Role

The Security Platform Engineer will join a growing security platform team working in an agile environment. This role requires the technical ability to plan, deploy, and manage a diverse range of security technologies that monitor and protect sensitive data and systems from infiltration and cyber-attacks.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage existing security technologies such as CrowdStrike, Netskope, and Semperis.
• Work on security initiatives and enterprise-level projects, performing proof of technology/concept asks.
• Implement new security controls and capabilities into existing technologies.
• Deploy, support, and maintain new security technologies and platforms.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call support team and join major incident management calls for support and consultation.
• Continuously improve operational and security platform process activities.
• Transition and operationalize projects, including developing RACI documents and educating BAU teams.
• Document, update, and maintain cyber security playbooks, policies, and knowledge base articles.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in information technology.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the information security field.
• An Information Technology University degree/college diploma in related discipline(s) or equivalent work experience, and/or 5 years experience in Information Technology.
• 3+ years in security IT industry experience.
• Experience with Endpoint Security Solutions such as CrowdStrike, Netskope, Semperis.
• Experience designing secure networks and endpoint systems.
• Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications.
• Experience with Windows and Linux based operating systems.
