About the Role
The Analyst Program at Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP) operates on an apprenticeship model, offering ambitious individuals a foray into venture capital careers. Analysts gain hands-on training, mentorship, and invaluable experience by engaging with entrepreneurs and investors, learning essential skills for their investing careers.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing new companies
- Conducting deep research in the diligence, roadmap, and deal-making process
- Working alongside BVP team members to help portfolio companies flourish
- Interacting with 100+ CEOs to identify seed-stage to Series C startups
- Conducting due diligence on investment opportunities
- Developing new investment roadmaps
- Identifying exciting sectors and business opportunities in the innovation economy
- Building a deep understanding of business models
- Growing an extensive network of entrepreneur and VC colleagues
Requirements
- Undergraduate college students expecting to graduate between the spring and summer of 2028
- Exceptional academic performance
Skills
- Deep curiosity about technology evolution, societal trends and entrepreneurship
- Demonstrated leadership on campus and/or beyond it
- Highly effective communication and persuasion skills
- Unrelenting determination
- Reasonable fluency in fundamental business concepts (accounting, investing)
