About the Role

As a Sprinkler Service Technician at Encore, you will be a key part of making sure our customers’ fire sprinkler systems are ready when they are needed most. You will inspect, test, service, and troubleshoot wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems, with a focus on reliability, compliance, and clear communication. This is a field-based role with a mix of planned service, repairs, and occasional emergency calls. It is a strong fit for technicians who take pride in their craft, enjoy solving problems on active job sites, and want to work on a team that values professionalism, technical expertise, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Service, test, inspect, and troubleshoot both basic and complex fire sprinkler systems.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Identify issues where systems are not working properly or not meeting current code requirements and recommend necessary actions.
Collaborate with contractors, building maintenance staff, and internal office teams to schedule and complete service calls.
Document findings, recommendations, and repairs in accordance with company expectations and NFPA standards.
Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency service requests.
Adhere to all safety procedures and professionally represent Encore on job sites.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Working knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, their components, and common service tools.
Familiarity with NFPA codes and general fire protection standards.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and system drawings.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights of 30 feet or more.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Experience operating lifts.
Understanding of OSHA safety practices.
Professional, team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety and accuracy.
