About the Role

Gartner Consulting is seeking an Expert Partner to cultivate client relationships, lead engagements, build effective teams, and expand our Security Capabilities. This role involves advising clients at the highest strategic level on both broad and specific matters, focusing on how technology drives business outcomes and contributing to the development of our asset-based methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver client engagements and manage client relationships.
  • Manage teams and advise clients on strategic and tactical matters.
  • Contribute to the development of asset-based methodologies.
  • Build a reputation for deep domain/industry expertise in security and emerging technologies.
  • Develop repeatable practice area collateral, offerings, and supporting materials.
  • Drive development of assets and intellectual property.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of market data, research, and competitive landscapes.
  • Drive client solutioning in sales pursuits within the practice area.
  • Understand client business challenges and desired outcomes.
  • Formulate solutions based on practice area expertise and Gartner capabilities.
  • Identify value propositions and differentiators for offerings.
  • Develop compelling narratives for client solutions.
  • Drive high client satisfaction through quality delivery and strong relationships.
  • Achieve individual and practice financial objectives.
  • Package, position, sell, and deliver Security Transformation solutions.
  • Build high-performing teams with the necessary skill sets.
  • Lead and mentor associates to scale capabilities.
  • Develop training content for associates.
  • Support practice team performance with clear goals and metrics.
  • Partner with Industry and Region Leads on talent strategy, including capacity planning, hiring, and talent management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree highly preferred.
  • Demonstrable deep expertise and practical design experience in at least one or more security domains: IAM, SOC, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, Network Security.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence C-suite stakeholders in a Strategy Consulting context.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Security with a deep understanding of its enterprise & government usage, technology market, and applicable regulations.
  • Comfortable designing future state architectures, developing financial models, and conducting options analysis for business cases.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Track record in achieving/exceeding revenue targets.
  • Previous experience working with public sector clients.
  • Familiarity with architecture best practices and frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA.
