About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Government Solutions (EMEA) to lead the Europe sales team in driving growth and expanding our footprint within the government sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling complex solutions to government entities, a deep understanding of government procurement processes, and exceptional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals within the government sector.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, understanding their needs and positioning our solutions to meet those needs.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, informing strategic decisions.
• Oversee the development of compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of our solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment and drive customer success.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with government regulations and procurement policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of fuel sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on government sales.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing market share within the government sector - specifically NSPA, UK MoD or similar European contracts.
• Deep understanding of government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse sales team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
