About the Role
Stratus is seeking a Strategic People Partner who thinks like an operator and is passionate about people-related work. This role is embedded within a critical business unit, partnering directly with leaders to drive people outcomes, including organizational design, talent decisions, and leadership development.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the single accountable People partner for your business unit.
- Shape decisions on organizational structure, team health, and talent.
- Support leaders through integration activities, addressing new teams, culture gaps, and retention risks.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle for the unit, including performance, compensation, hiring calibration, and employee relations.
- Translate business context into relevant People strategies.
- Partner with the People function to implement programs while considering business unit nuances.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience, ideally including a business-facing People role and prior experience in consulting, operations, finance, or a startup.
- Exposure to M&A or integration environments is a strong plus.
- Ability to prioritize business outcomes and then identify people levers.
- Proficiency with data analysis for headcount models and retention trends.
- Strong judgment for escalating, absorbing, or pushing back on issues.
- An MBA or equivalent business training is a plus, not a requirement.
