About the Role

Deliver supplies to vessels, coordinate shipping and receiving, and organize inventory. This role involves assisting operations, engineering, and facility maintenance, while also managing vehicle maintenance programs and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Run parts and various errands to assist Operations and Engineering.
• Assist in yard facility maintenance.
• Organize and track inventory.
• Assist in projects as directed.
• Drive company vehicles and forklifts.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Create and maintain a maintenance program for Centerline Atlantic Fleet vehicles.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining tugs and barges preferred.
• Possess mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work with others using courtesy, tact, and good judgment.
• Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal or no guidance.
• Ability to work with office staff and vessel crewmembers.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive communications.
• Valid State driver license and clean driving record.
• Obtain First Aid and CPR training within 60 days of hire.
• Valid TWIC card within 30 days of hire.
• Frequently required to board tugs and barges in a safe manner with proper PPE.
• Work in warehouse, maintenance yard and onboard vessels in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn the oil transportation and maritime industry.
