About the Role

We design, develop, deploy, and support global clearing systems, focusing on system reliability, testability, recoverability, fault tolerance, throughput, and latency. We seek analytical thinkers with a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering who are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Support Clearing platform and system functionality as a Software Engineer, Test (QA).
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure new features and functionality perform as expected.
  • Ensure the overall health of the system to guarantee stable releases with minimal negative customer impact and smooth deployment.
  • Perform manual and automation testing, with a strong emphasis on automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of QA experience, including recent and demonstrable experience creating automated test cases, and coding/enhancing test frameworks.
  • Experience with Cucumber BDD framework for feature files and reporting.
  • Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or other UI automation tools.
  • Experience in Java and Python development for testing.
  • Scripting experience or working knowledge of another scripting/programming language.
  • Experience testing API and API automation testing (Rest and SOAP).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming techniques.
  • Strong working knowledge/understanding of Docker/Kubernetes architecture.
  • Strong working knowledge in database platforms such as PostgreSQL (preferred), MySQL, or similar RDBMS, and document DB like MongoDB.
  • Good working knowledge of SQL is a must.
  • Hands-on experience with AI and AI-powered testing tools to automate test case generation, execution, and maintenance.
  • Practical experience with tools such as Claude Code, or similar.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux (preference: RHEL/RPM based Linux).
  • Familiarity with FIX 4.4, Swift messaging protocols, and Kafka.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git (preferred), or other version control tools.
  • Experience working in a continuous integration environment with tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Exacting attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
