About the Role
NRG is seeking Research Managers and Senior Managers to join our client services teams. You will manage the full project lifecycle, from proposal to report delivery, using your intellectual curiosity and storytelling ability to solve complex client challenges across entertainment, technology, gaming, and sports.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of quantitative and qualitative research projects including design, questionnaire development, data analysis, and storytelling.
- Conduct audience, landscape, and brand studies using methods like concept testing, messaging evaluation, market sizing, and segmentation.
- Translate research data into clear, actionable insights through visual and story-driven reports.
- Partner with internal and external operations teams to drive projects forward on strict timelines.
- Assist with proposal writing by researching industry trends.
- Build client relationships and manage day-to-day interactions.
- Troubleshoot project issues efficiently.
- Provide direction and training to analysts on the team.
- Oversee quality control processes including survey programming logic, questionnaire proofing, and report accuracy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in consumer insights, consumer research, or an analyst/strategy role at an entertainment, media, or technology company.
- B.A./B.S. degree in Social Sciences, Business, Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research projects.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to groups.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality control.

- Data visualization using Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Slides.
- Statistical significance testing.

- Multivariate analysis techniques such as cluster or segmentation analysis.
