About the Role
The Research Administrator processes disclosure responses from custodian banks and intermediaries, converts data into standardized formats, and maps unknown accounts to the correct beneficial owners and investment managers, primarily using Excel and desktop research.
Responsibilities
- Support the team and wider business unit in processing disclosure responses received from third parties primarily using Excel and internal tools.
- Perform data mapping using both third party data vendors and online tools, ensuring consistency and alignment between different systems and datasets.
- Apply logical reasoning and investigative techniques to resolve complex ownership chains.
- Maintain our internal database ensuring all entries are unique and accurate.
- Research online fund literature through a variety of sources to validate shareholding data.

- Strong research skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach and strong drive to achieve results.
- Knowledge of equity markets.
- Additional European language skills would be a distinct advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree advantageous but not necessary.
