About the Role
The Front Desk Agent is the face of the hotel, providing superior service to all guests. This role involves managing check-ins/check-outs, handling guest requests, and taking reservations.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and complete check-in/check-out procedures using the Property Management System.
- Obtain and store pertinent guest information.
- Handle cash, credit card information, and goods at the property.
- Identify guest needs and provide relevant information about hotel services and amenities.
- Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner.
- Take reservations from callers, providing excellent service and inputting information into the hotel management system.
- Update and cancel reservations in the system as requested by guests.
Requirements
- Customer Service experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Marriott experience is a plus.
- Computer knowledge including intranet, Property Management System, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving history subject to company approval.
