About the Role
We are seeking an Account Executive at Microsoft Japan to manage public sector clients, focusing on sales activities and providing solutions using Microsoft technologies. This role involves understanding industry trends, promoting the value of Microsoft's cloud services, and driving digital transformation for clients. We are looking for individuals passionate about contributing to the digital transformation of social infrastructure, which is crucial for national life, and who can act as Trusted Advisors to clients in their mid-term business planning.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with customers and partners at the executive level.
- Understand customer and industry needs to develop and execute customized, customer-centric proposals and solutions.
- Orchestrate cross-departmental teams to drive digital transformation for customers and related organizations.
- Achieve sales growth and increase mindshare within the market and assigned territory.
- Manage opportunities to meet quarterly/annual targets and escalate appropriately to secure deals.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of sales experience in the public sector or enterprise domain, or solution sales experience.
- Experience in planning and executing strategic, comprehensive account plans that address customer challenges, visions, and mid-to-long-term business plans.
- Experience in creating and executing business acquisition plans in collaboration with partners, alongside high-touch sales.
- Native-level Japanese language proficiency.
