About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Manager responsible for the day-to-day execution of the commercial plan across UK & Ireland, working closely with distributor partners to ensure strong in-market execution. This is a high visibility role with regular interaction with leadership and distributor teams, offering significant growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Support delivery of sales targets across UK & Ireland through close tracking of performance by customer, SKU, and channel.
- Monitor weekly/monthly sales performance and highlight risks, gaps, and opportunities.
- Support development and execution of customer-specific plans and promotions.
- Work with distributors to ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales data.
- Track trade spend across customers, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with agreed plans.
- Support the approval process for trade investments and manage trade spend with accuracy and discipline.
- Own the sales forecast at SKU/account level, ensuring accuracy and alignment with plans.
- Work closely with supply chain and distributors to support accurate demand forecasting.
- Monitor stock levels and highlight risks such as shortages, excess, or slow-moving stock.
- Conduct regular analysis on sales performance, margin drivers, promotional effectiveness, and cost trends.
- Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders and support monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions.
- Maintain clear, structured trackers and documentation.
- Support management of price lists and customer-specific pricing.
- Maintain price exception trackers and adhere to approval SOPs.
- Ensure commercial terms are accurately reflected in execution and business reporting.
- Contribute to building commercial excellence discipline across reporting.
Requirements
- Min 3 years experience in UK based sales, commercial, or account support roles (FMCG, OTC, or Consumer Health).
- Experience working with top accounts such as Boots, Tesco, Amazon.
- Strong analytical skills with good Excel capability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with internal teams, senior stakeholders, and external partners.
- Strong executor with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive and able to follow through to ensure actions are completed.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and accountable.
- Structured and disciplined in managing processes and follow-ups.
- Collaborative but confident in challenging when needed.
- Focused on delivery and execution, not just planning.
