About the Role
This is a new role on our service-oriented Facilities team that works onsite 5 days a week to meet the needs of employees across 9 floors. Our Facilities team is proud of the work we do in keeping our facilities safe and clean for all employees and guests. We value people and team-building skills and can anticipate needs before they arise.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily walkthroughs of the space to identify problems such as spills/trash, lighting issues, smells, missing nameplates, and property damage.
- Assist the Associate Manager of Facilities in facilities maintenance and operations.
- Manage all terrace landscaping, beverage machines, snacks/breakfasts, along with ordering inventory and supplies.
- Restock the kitchen regularly, wipe counters and tables, remove trash, and clean high-touch areas like fridge handles and microwaves.
- Coordinate set up and break down for events and happy hours.
- Deliver mail and packages.
- Oversee vendor work and request/manage COIs.
- Execute office and desk moves.
- Perform minor carpentry repairs like patch/paint as well as installations of artwork and bulletin boards, shelving, etc.
Requirements
- Ability to handle multiple, competing, priorities and pressure in a fast-paced environment
- At least 2 years of facilities experience
- Must be able to lift, pull or push up to 30lbs
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a propensity for action
