About the Role
Everand and Fable are seeking a Senior Product Manager to enhance consumer experiences across both apps. This role will focus on helping readers discover their next favorite book, a critical challenge for the company.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, vision, and roadmap for the squad, spanning both Everand and Fable.
- Lead a cross-functional squad, collaborating with engineering, design, research, and data teams to deliver features.
- Balance significant investments with continuous experimentation to improve key engagement metrics.
- Utilize qualitative and quantitative data from cross-functional partners to inform decision-making.
- Partner with data science and engineering on recommendation, ranking, and search systems, making product tradeoffs on relevance and quality.
- Create experiences that combine design, editorial insight, and algorithms to aid readers in finding new books.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience with large-scale consumer products.
- Experience with native mobile apps and subscriptions is a plus.
- Proven ability to translate major pain points into product strategy and define an opinionated roadmap.
- Fluency in partnering with engineers and data scientists on Machine Learning-driven experiences like recommendations, search, and ranking systems.
- Strong proficiency in both quantitative (A/B testing, data analytics) and qualitative (user testing, interviews) research methods.
- Excellent product sense and an eye for effortless and delightful consumer experiences.
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with clear writing and crisp prioritization.
