About the Role

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with diverse needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits.
• Treat patients in-office, in testing centers, and via occasional telehealth visits.
• Engage in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
• Collaborate with in-office and virtual clinical teams through daily huddles.
• Utilize clinical training and perform in-office procedures.
• Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care in additional states as needed.

Requirements

• Completed an accredited FNP or PA program with national certification.
• At least 2 years of practice as an Advanced Practitioner in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages in the past 5 years.
• Alternatively, 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages, coupled with a 1-year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting seeing patients of all ages in the past 5 years.
• State licensed in Texas by the One Medical start date.
• Demonstrate a passion for human-centered primary care.
• Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds.
• Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care.
• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
• Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery.
• Openness to feedback and reflection for productive insight.
• Ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues.
• Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs.
