About the Role

United Dental Corporation is seeking a Front Office Coordinator to join our growing team in the Flushing area. We are looking for a professional, organized, and patient-focused individual who enjoys creating a positive patient experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of a dental practice.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Collect patient payments and maintain accurate records
  • Assist patients with treatment financing options
  • Maintain patient charts and documentation
  • Support office productivity through effective scheduling and communication
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure a seamless patient experience
  • Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional office environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Periodontal office experience
  • Dental front office experience
  • Experience with dental insurance verification
  • Experience with treatment presentation and financial arrangements
  • Experience with dental practice management software
  • Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments
  • Bilingual skills (if applicable to market)
