About the Role
The Fraud team is seeking a Strategy & Operations Associate to reduce fraud costs and protect the platform. This role focuses on creating strategy and executing goals for reducing Dasher fraud in new business verticals, investigating fraud cases, and developing long-term solutions. The goal is to balance user experience with fraud prevention.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement DoorDash’s strategy in Dasher fraud.
- Analyze fraud vectors across DoorDash's platform to identify bad actors and improve user experience.
- Partner with product, engineering, analytics, and cross-functional teams to establish goals and build strategic programs.
- Use data-driven decision-making to run tests and reduce fraud while accelerating growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, technology, investment banking, analytics or related experience; high-growth experience preferred
- Interest operating in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment
- Experience contributing to large projects, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in SQL and expertise in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets/sheets) are required
- Ability to thoughtfully consider multiple perspectives and effectively communicate them to drive understanding and alignment
