About the Role

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides intense individualized mental health interventions and support services in community-based settings to children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families. The goal is to implement clinical interventions and supportive services to enable children/adolescents to function in the least restrictive setting.

Responsibilities

  • Implement specific treatment goals under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
  • Participate as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and ability to complete 40+ hours of training
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in provision of behavioral health services
  • Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from accredited organization
  • Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
  • RBT 40 hour training course will be required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus
  • CPR/FA Certification is a plus
  • Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus
