About the Role
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides intense individualized mental health interventions and support services in community-based settings to children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families. The goal is to implement clinical interventions and supportive services to enable children/adolescents to function in the least restrictive setting.
Responsibilities
- Implement specific treatment goals under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
- Participate as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and ability to complete 40+ hours of training
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in provision of behavioral health services
- Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from accredited organization
- Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
- RBT 40 hour training course will be required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus
- CPR/FA Certification is a plus
- Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage
- Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus
