About the Role
Wholesure, a division of Acrisure, is seeking an Underwriter to collaborate with carrier partners on risk approval and policy underwriting for new and renewal business. This role involves partnering with agents and carriers to identify optimal products for end customers.
Responsibilities
- Determine acceptability of new risks by reviewing, evaluating, and rating submissions.
- Determine renewal actions by analyzing claim reports and conducting pre-underwriting reviews.
- Evaluate loss control reports, recommend corrective actions, and monitor progress.
- Complete underwriting file documentation according to established standards.
- Build and maintain producer relationships through training on company procedures, product knowledge, and underwriting guidelines.
- Resolve producer problems and concerns.
- Monitor producer production and loss ratios for portfolio management.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
