About the Role
Enterprise Strategy & Transformation (ES&T) is a cross-enterprise internal consulting and corporate strategy team within RBC, organized under the Chief Legal and Administrative Officer (CLAO) Group. The team acts as thought partners to senior executives, providing support for high-priority strategic problems, developing enterprise and line of business strategies, and driving transformation, collaboration, and new capability development. ES&T offers a dynamic environment with unique exposure to various parts of the bank, fostering skill development, career advancement, and opportunities to work on ambitious initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive strategic reviews and analyses, developing recommendations for senior leadership.
- Ensure growth strategies are aligned across businesses and identify potential benefits.
- Support the annual enterprise strategic development process and business portfolio review.
- Produce strategy materials for executive and Board review.
- Act as a trusted advisor to facilitate trade-off and prioritization decisions.
- Manage work streams, present deliverables, and raise risks and issues with solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of management consulting experience in business strategy, organizational transformation, or corporate strategy engagements.
- Demonstrated ability in project design, management, and implementation.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships at all organizational levels.
- Strong written and oral presentation skills and presence.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Comfort working in ambiguous situations and across different lines of business.
- MBA or graduate/post-graduate or professional designations or equivalent (Nice-to-have).
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Services consulting or advising financial institutions (Nice-to-have).
- Experience with new/emerging businesses and digital business models (Nice-to-have).
