About the Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will help build and support the full technology stack for our growing network of tuition-free Montessori-inspired preschools. You will design and implement cloud-based technology solutions that empower exponential growth, integrating engineering best practices with a focus on data security, scalability, and supportability. Your passion for modern cloud infrastructure and scalable technology design will be critical to your success. You will be part of a small, growing team, contributing to technology, IT policy, and team culture. A customer-centric approach and motivation by our mission to expand access to high-quality preschool in underserved areas are paramount.
Responsibilities
- Build and support the full technology stack for a growing network of preschools.
- Design and implement cloud-based technology solutions.
- Integrate engineering best practices with a focus on data security, scalability, and supportability.
- Lay the groundwork for the organization in technology, IT policy, and team culture.
- Operate at all levels, from strategic design to operations support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Eight or more years of progressive experience in information technology, systems engineering, and/or IaaS/SaaS/PaaS-based infrastructure management.
- Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure platforms, tools, and methodologies including cloud networking (e.g. Cloudflare, Akamai).
- Ability to manage AI platforms and infrastructure (e.g. Claude CoWork, Copilot Studio, Azure Foundry).
- Experience deploying, administering, supporting, and migrating between SaaS applications and platforms in an enterprise environment.
- Working knowledge of information security best practices in a cloud environment.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to schools and other sites as needed.

Salary/Compensations
- $98,000 - $185,000 per year
