About the Role
SoFi is seeking a Stock Plan Administrator to oversee and scale the company's equity plans globally. This role involves managing the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), ensuring compliance, and driving innovation in equity administration.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), including enrollment, withdrawal, contribution reconciliations, and global expansion.
- Act as the primary reviewer and approver for daily operations, ensuring the Stock Plan Analyst's work is accurate and compliant.
- Lead special projects such as automation of manual processes, system integrations, and reduction of manual work SOPs.
- Operationalize the company's employee mobility tax sourcing methodology in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.
- Partner with the Senior Manager, Global Equity to design and deliver educational campaigns on Long-Term Incentive (LTI) and ESPP opportunities for employees.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Public Company Equity Administration.
- Comprehensive exposure to full-value awards (primarily RSU & PSU) and ESPP lifecycles.
- Deep familiarity with Fidelity NetBenefits (SPS).
- Advanced Excel skillset, including building error-catching models.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Critical thinking skills, looking beyond checklists to identify improvements.
- Resourceful and accountable with an owner's mindset.
- Ability to manage deadlines and ensure output accuracy.
- Collaborative spirit, capable of working across departments (Payroll, Tax, Legal).
