About the Role
Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external customers, managing inquiries, scheduling shipments, handling requests, resolving issues, and ensuring clear, timely communication to deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Schedule pick-ups, trace shipments, provide shipment ETAs, rate quotes, and/or freight charges.
- Coordinate with internal departments, partners, delivery agents, brokers, and container stations to schedule shipments and handle customer issues.
- Schedule delivery appointments and handle re-consignments.
- Coordinate communication with customers, drivers, and Accounts Receivable regarding Driver Collect and C.O.D. shipments.
- Ensure the accurate billing of shipments.
- Compile and deliver custom reports; perform daily audits of reports.
- Document all customer interactions for follow-up and record-keeping purposes.
- Assist customers with “My Pyle” registration and utilization of our website.
- Meet the standards for all Key Performance Indicators (Call Quality, Process Knowledge Assessment, Adherence to Schedule, “Make Busy” %, Contacts per Hour).
Requirements
- 1 year of prior customer service experience preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment with strong attention to detail.
- Strong familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Basic typing skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and/or as part of a team.
- Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including early mornings, evenings, and non-traditional holidays.
