About the Role
As a Strategy Manager on the Capital Investments & Returns Excellence (CIRE) team, you will own a critical part of the mandate to ensure capital investments deliver promised outcomes. You will work at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations, tracking investment performance, building executive reporting, and partnering with business units to make data-driven recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Produce reporting on active capital project performance against plan, including remediation and "get-to-green" plans.
- Own monthly executive reporting on capital performance, translating results into actionable insights.
- Define and manage KPIs, metrics, and methodologies for capital performance measurement.
- Conduct post-investment reviews, look-backs, and audits to confirm project outcomes against business cases.
- Partner with business units to resolve issues, optimize spend, and right-size investments.
- Maintain templates, checklists, and artefacts for consistent comparisons and compliance.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to scrutinize and challenge business cases, pressure-test assumptions, and assess benefits, costs, and risks.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.

Experience Level
- 3+ years in management consulting, corporate finance, investment banking, FP&A, transaction advisory, or capital allocation
- Ideally within a large, multi-business-unit organization
- Telecommunications or technology industry experience is a plus
Education Level
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related business/quantitative discipline
- Graduate degree such as an MBA, or a professional designation such as CPA or CFA, is preferred
