About the Role
The Senior Tax Analyst will drive fiscal compliance and financial excellence within a global environment. This role is essential for ensuring the company meets its tax obligations while supporting various business areas and collaborating with local, regional, and corporate teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file monthly and annual tax returns including VAT, withholdings, municipal taxes, and income tax.
- Calculate and coordinate timely tax payments in accordance with legislation and corporate policies.
- Prepare financial information for transfer pricing studies and tax reports.
- Perform monthly tax account reconciliations and analyze variances.
- Calculate quarterly current and deferred taxes under US GAAP and prepare documentation for ASC 740.
- Prepare and submit the Annual Tax Package for the corporate tax department.
- Manage internal and external tax audits and respond to government authority requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with tax advisors and tax authorities.
- Provide tax advice and support to various company departments.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure implementation in organizational processes and systems.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of tax processes related to SAP, electronic invoicing, and OneSource.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting with a specialization in Tax or equivalent experience.
- Professional certification as a Public Accountant is desirable.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in tax positions within multinational companies.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience with solid knowledge of US GAAP.
- Experience in tax compliance, tax returns, and tax audits.
- Knowledge of direct and indirect taxes including VAT, ISR, withholdings, and transfer pricing.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Experience with electronic invoicing systems.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
