About the Role

Partner with higher education institutions to deliver impactful solutions that support nursing education. Apply a consultative, solution-based sales approach to help customers achieve better learning and clinical outcomes through Elsevier’s portfolio of products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales in assigned territory, including customer service, sales presentations, negotiation and training on both print and digital products.
  • Drive successful implementation and adoption of the solution portfolio for customers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Higher Education and C-suite professionals, providing in-depth product training, support and guidance aligned to the curriculum.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations on Elsevier’s suite of products and how they can create a robust classroom experience.
  • Track sales pipeline, leads, and sales cycle using Salesforce.com.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate experience with sales in technology, higher education or healthcare/publishing.
  • Possess a proven track record of B2B sales success.
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate a track record of successful customer engagement and driving customer adoption.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record (motor vehicle check required).
  • Live within designated territory.

Salary/Compensations

  • Home based-New York Base Pay Range: $65,500 - $109,200. Total Target Cash Range: $100,800 - $168,100.
  • If performed in New York City, the base pay range is $71,500 - $119,200, the total target cash range is $110,000 - $183,400.
  • If performed in Rochester, NY, the base pay range is $59,600 - $99,300, the total target cash range is $91,600 - $152,800.
  • U.S. National Base Pay Range: $59,600 - $99,300, Total Target Cash Range: $91,600 - $152,800.
