About the Role
As a Branch Member Service Representative Float, you will serve as the face of RBFCU, combining Teller and Personal Banker functions to provide exceptional service. You will build member relationships, identify financial needs, and educate members on products to improve their financial well-being while mitigating fraud risks.
Responsibilities
- Provide enthusiastic, professional, and prompt service to members and the team.
- Process transactions via in-person, video conference, drive-thru, and telephonic channels.
- Maintain control of cash and negotiable instruments per policies and regulations.
- Conduct consultative, needs-based conversations to uncover financial needs and meet sales goals.
- Support the sales culture and branch standards through best practices and self-accountability.
- Perform as a Branch Reservist to handle incoming calls for the Member Service Center.
- Assess deposits and interactions for fraud and impersonation risks.
- Collaborate with internal departments like Consumer Lending and Mortgage.
- Assist with opening, updating, and closing accounts.
- Prepare teller reports and escort members as requested.
- Observe safety and security procedures.
- Train and work at any branch within the assigned region based on business needs.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Six months of work experience.
- Ability to work a flexible Monday through Saturday schedule.
- Ability to travel to and work at any location within the assigned region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to solve problems and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency with PCs, software, and office equipment.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Good vision, hearing, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms and speak clearly.
