About the Role
As a member of the PR & Communications team, the Content Specialist will be a key contributor to the firm’s website and marketing materials, ensuring that the firm’s digital presence clearly and consistently reflects its priorities, expertise and institutional voice.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling, on-brand copy for a variety of audiences
- Edit announcements of the firm’s work for internal and external distribution in a fast-paced daily review process with Business Development colleagues
- Proofread various content to ensure adherence to firm style and editorial guidelines
- Draft, edit and revise content across the firm’s public website, including practice pages and lawyer bios
- Help implement website updates to align with GEO best practices
- Assist in regular refreshes of firm brochures and other printed collateral
- Track changes to clients’ marketing restrictions and perform audits of the website and marketing materials to ensure compliance
- Other projects as needed
Requirements
- Exemplary writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Ability to understand complex information and translate it into accessible copy for a variety of audiences
- Excellent organizational skills and very strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams
- Experience at a law firm or other professional services firm, or as a legal or business journalist preferred
