About the Role
The Administrative Assistant provides essential clerical support, ensuring high standards of communication and an organized office environment. This role is crucial for the timely distribution of materials and maintaining efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative support to all programs through various tasks and reporting processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of case materials, foster parent files, census data, and reports.
- Complete reports and vouchers accurately and on time for billing and revenue purposes.
- Model high-performing team standards daily.
- Participate in staff and supervisory meetings, trainings, and in-service opportunities to enhance job skills and professional growth.
- Cross-train with other department members to provide backup assistance during high demand, vacancies, or duty reassignments.
- Maintain proficiency in office technology and systems, updating skills as needed.
- Produce professional documents, worksheets, and databases relevant to the position.
- Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and follow-through on assignments and projects.
- Handle changing responsibilities and demands professionally, performing consistently under pressure and in emergencies.
- Confer with supervisors as appropriate before making decisions and judgments based on available evidence.
- Ensure compliance with Agency, State, Federal, and Accreditation standards.
- Maintain confidentiality, sharing information only on a need-to-know basis.
Requirements
- Strong computer skills required.
- Some experience in an office and administrative capacity strongly preferred.
