About the Role

Raymour & Flanigan, voted Retailer of the Year by the National Furniture Association, is the fastest growing furniture retailer in the northeast. This role is responsible to pick up and deliver straight trucks and vans to our Customer Service/Distribution Centers and dealerships, yard shifter, inventory/ parts control and provide general facility support functions. You must have excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team. This is an opportunity to demonstrate customer service skills and learn the furniture retail business.

Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver straight trucks and vans to Customer Service/Distribution Centers and dealerships
Yard shifter, when needed
Inventory/parts control
Provide general facility support functions
Order parts
Pick up parts when needed
Visually inspect waste oil tank/fuel tank
Assist in yard checks of fleet vehicles
Keep accurate logs for all trucks/vans moved
Perform light duty repairs, e.g., change light bulbs, wipers
Audit and close repair orders in computer tracking system

Requirements

Must have excellent listening skills
Must be able to work independently and with a team
Clean Driving Record
Must have 2 years accident free
Must pass all DOT required pre-employment criteria
Must pass company mandated hair follicle drug test
Must pass criminal background check
Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
