About the Role
Immediate full-time Heavy-Duty Shop Technician position available in our Suffern, NY repair facility, sharing responsibility for upkeep and maintenance on a fleet of over 800 trucks, tractors, trailers, and dollies.
Responsibilities
- Upkeep and maintenance on a fleet of over 800 trucks, tractors, trailers, and dollies.
Requirements
- Four years Medium/Heavy Duty Truck repair experience preferred.
- Experience/exposure on Detroit or Cummins engines and related computer systems.
- Experience with trailer and lift gate repairs.
- Electrical systems diagnostic experience preferred.
- ABS Certification
- Welding Experience, preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be safety oriented.
- Must have own tools.
- Must meet all DOT required pre-employment criteria.
- Must pass company mandated hair follicle drug test.
- Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
