About the Role

Crestwood is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT), or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to clients in a behavioral health setting. This role involves guiding non-licensed personnel and contributing to the client's recovery journey within a supportive community.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct nursing care to clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice.
  • Provides direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit.

Requirements

  • Current licensure in California as RN, LVN, or LPT.
  • Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
  • Ability to supervise.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
  • Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
  • Current CPR and first aid certifications.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation including criminal history and identity check.
