About the Role

Account Director role focused on the Healthcare sector, acting as a trusted advisor to bring value to customers by helping them effectively engage with LinkedIn's Talent and Learning solutions. Responsibilities

  • Research customer's business and prepare thoughtful questions and insights in advance of customer meetings.
  • Ask layered, open-ended questions to understand and clarify customer objectives and challenges.
  • Build relationships with multiple stakeholders across the customer's organization.
  • Shift communication style and content to fit the needs of different stakeholders.
  • Lead with solutions, not products, when making recommendations aligned to customer objectives.
  • Sell with integrity.
  • Drive customer decision making by achieving shared vision and proactively considering value propositions.
  • Think commercially and apply business acumen when crafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Use data and insights to support investment recommendations or overcome customer objections.
  • Proactively mitigate churn risk with a customer-centric approach.
  • Engage customers to confirm and clarify value and adapt strategy to optimize ROI.
  • Drive customer growth by identifying opportunities to deliver greater customer value.
  • Apply business acumen in Account Planning by considering economic, industry, and company factors.
  • Map key stakeholders in an account to assess relationship strength and create outreach strategy.
  • Agree to joint accountability with colleagues and cross-functional teams for customer success.
  • Practice humility and ask for help from colleagues when faced with challenges.
  • Maintain discipline in Territory and Account Planning, Forecasting, and Quota Attainment.
  • Follow best practices when using CRM and other Sales tools to manage sales and buyer cycles.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of applicable sales experience.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in the healthcare space.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and forecasting skills.
  • Experience carrying a revenue target with the ability to develop compelling strategies that deliver results.
  • Comfort in gathering and using data to inform decision making and persuading others.
  • Demonstrated ability to find and manage high-level business in a solution-based sales environment.
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers.
  • Experience orchestrating the closure of business with an accurate understanding of prospect needs.
  • Ability to include multiple partners and members of the company management team using competitive selling.
  • Comfort with SaaS opportunities and knowledge of software contract terms and conditions.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • Experience selling IT solutions and familiarity with Dynamics/D365 platform preferred.
